Details. It is noted that the explosion occurred in the Darnytskyi district of the capital. At the time of the explosion, no air raid was announced. The causes are being established.
Mr. Klitschko adds that the explosion occurred on the territory of a former factory. There may be people under the rubble, the services are heading to the site.

Kyiv City Military Administration clarifies that, according to preliminary data, a gas cylinder exploded at 3:45 p.m. There are victims, but their number is not specified.

Mayor Klitschko reports 1 dead as a result of the explosion.
UPDATED at 4:18 p.m.:
KCMA confirms the information about 1 dead person. In addition, 3 more people were pulled out of the rubble. They are being provided with medical assistance.
UPDATED at 4:25 p.m.:
The mayor clarifies that the explosion occurred in a one-story warehouse on the territory of the former plant, destroying a building on an area of 500 square metres. Search and rescue operations continue.
Mr. Klitschko adds that the cause of the explosion is still being established.

6 more people are being rescued from under the rubble. "There are still people under the rubble, we hear them. The rescue operation continues. The information is being updated," the KCMA says.
