What happened? The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has expanded the list of civil servants (men and women) who are allowed to travel abroad during martial law. This includes adoptive parents, guardians, and trustees. The relevant decision is set out in Resolution No. 119 of the Cabinet of Ministers of February 10.

Details. "The passage across the state border of a woman, including one who is an adoptive parent, guardian, trustee, one of the foster parents, who has or is raising a child or several children under the age of 18, in order to visit the child abroad or accompany him, is carried out by authorised persons of the State Border Guard Service in the presence of relevant supporting documents," the statement says.

To cross the border, women must have a passport, a child's birth certificate, and documents confirming the child's stay abroad.

Men, for their part, must additionally have a document confirming their status as a single father, upbringing and maintenance of the child by the father alone.

Background. To recap: On January 27, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a resolution prohibiting officials from travelling abroad without valid reasons during the war.
