JPMorgan estimates direct earthquake damage to Turkey at $25 billion

The amount of direct damage to Turkey's infrastructure as a result of the devastating earthquake could cost the country 2.5% of GDP, or $25 billion, and there is a possibility that the amount will increase.

Details. The total death toll from the February 6 aftershocks in Turkey and Syria has exceeded 41,000.
Millions of people are still waiting for humanitarian aid, many of the survivors are homeless, and the temperature in the region is close to freezing.
