Nuland: All G7 countries will impose new sanctions against Russia by February 24
She said that Russians started acting "cunningly": they import goods through third countries

The United States and all the Group of Seven (G7) countries are planning to impose a wide range of new sanctions on Moscow by February 24, the one-year anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Source. This was stated on Thursday by US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, BBC reports.
"Closer to February 24, you will see a major new package of sanctions from the United States and all of our G7 partners," Nuland said during a telephone briefing.
"There will be deepened and expanded sanctions in certain categories in which we have acted before, in particular, in limiting the flow of high-tech products to the Russian defense industry," Victoria Nuland said.
According to the diplomat, new sanctions will be imposed against individuals and banks, as well as against those involved in circumventing sanctions, including in third countries.
"We see that the Russians have started to act quite cunningly: they import everything from laptops to refrigerators through third countries, including our countries, and then disassemble them, take out chips and other things that go to their war machine," Nuland explained.
Background. Meanwhile, it has become known that the EU may ban the export of toilets and bidets to Russia, among other goods.
