Ruslan Umerer, the Head of FDMU, reported that since January 2023 his organization has earned 738 million hryvnia on privatization auctions.

During January and February, Umerer also announced that FDMU will save 72 million hryvnia due to preventing malpractice in property valuation. He further noted that the goal is to set up a pilot project to help businesses assess damages caused by unlawful actions.

Additionally, FDMU is currently working on creating a transparent land management system as well as launching large-scale privatization measures and electronic registries.

Previously, Mind reported that FDMU planned to complete its 30-year history of property losses’ compensation with the state budget for 2022 amounting 3.6 billion hryvnias – 2 billion of which resulting from small privatizations and rental fees from state property.
