German Rheinmetall: ammunition for anti-aircraft tanks will be delivered to Ukraine by July
CEO says the plant is working in two or even three shifts
Germany's largest arms manufacturer Rheinmetall expects the first batch of ammunition for Gepard anti-aircraft tanks to be delivered to Ukraine by July.

Papperger made the promise at a press conference with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius after they visited the tank production plant in Unterluss in western Germany.
The Rheinmetall CEO also said that 20 Marder combat vehicles would be ready for delivery to Ukraine by the end of March.
In response to Pistorius' call for arms manufacturers to increase ammunition production, Papperger said his company has doubled its capacity and even tripled it in some sectors.
"In arms production, the warehouse is full, we are working at full capacity here and we can still increase capacity in one shift if contracts are signed," he said.
Pistorius said the German government is working with industry to do its best.
"We can deliver what we have, and we can deliver what will be made in the coming months," he added.
On Monday, the German Defense Minister also visited Ukrainian soldiers who are learning to drive Leopard tanks and Marder infantry fighting vehicles in Munster, Germany.
The production of a modern battle tank takes "about two to two and a half years" from the moment of ordering, Pistorius said during the visit.
"Everything we are giving [Ukraine] now will be available for replacement only in two to two and a half years," he added.
