In the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Oblast, the russian invaders are searching houses and seizing boats and other watercraft. Earlier such actions were carried out before the withdrawal from the right-bank part of Kherson Oblast and for conducting sabotage actions.
This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The main efforts of the enemy continue to be focused on conducting offensive operations on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Shakhtarske axes. Over the previous day, the Ukrainian defenders repelled about 70 enemy attacks on the indicated axes.
The russian occupiers carried out 27 airstrikes and launched 75 MLRS attacks. Once again, towns, villages and civilians were affected. The level of the threat of enemy missile strikes remains high throughout the territory of Ukraine.
Moreover, forced mobilisation continues in the Chechen Republic of the russian federation. To prevent possible desertion of those mobilised from the front or sabotage, on February 23, 2023 up to 200 policemen from the Ahmat special purpose regiment were additionally dispatched to the Bakhmut sector.
