According to the Khmelnytskyi Oblast Military Administration, another rescuer died in hospital.
Ukrainian defenders shot down 11 out of the 14 Iranian kamikaze drones during the russian attack on the night of February 27.
This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that the drones were launched from the north. Drones were eliminated by the air defence units in the area of responsibility of the Air Command Centre of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Kyiv City Military Administration adds that 9 Shahed UAVs were shot down in the airspace around Kyiv. They explained that the drone attack was carried out in two waves, stretched out as long as possible to try to exhaust Ukraine's air defence.
According to preliminary data, no hits by attack drones on infrastructure facilities of Kyiv were recorded, the night in the capital passed without casualties or injuries among the population.
According to the mayor of Khmelnytskyi city, drones attacked the local community. The Head of the Oblast Military Administration, Serhiy Hamaliy, says that three hits were recorded in the oblast capital.
As a result of the attack, a rescuer of the State Emergency Service was killed while performing his duties, and 4 other people were injured. In addition, several buildings were damaged.
