Wizz Air suspends all flights to Moldova for security reasons
The decision was made "due to recent events in Moldova"

Wizz Air is the largest airline in Central and Eastern Europe. In its official statement, the company said it had "made a difficult but responsible decision" to suspend all flights to and from Chisinau starting March 14.
Source. This was reported by the BBC.
Details. The decision was made "due to the recent events in Moldova and the high, but not inevitable risk in the country's airspace."
Wizz Air operates flights from Moldova to the UK, Italy, Czech Republic, and Hungary. Instead of Chisinau, the airline will increase the number of flights to the Romanian city of Iasi. It is about 100 km from the capital of Moldova.
During the war, the Moldovan government claimed that Russian missiles flew through its airspace at least twice.
In early February, the Moldovan and Ukrainian authorities did not rule out that Russia had a plan to destabilize the situation in Moldova, but Russia categorically denied this.
Finally, today it became known that the Ukrainian army has allocated forces to counter a possible attack from unrecognized Transnistria.
Background. As reported, the Kremlin said that Ukrainian saboteurs are allegedly preparing an attack on Transnistria, while Moldova denies this.
Also, Moldova recently closed its airspace because of a suspicious balloon spotted in the sky.
