Some Russian organizations are paying young Palestinians $350 each to recruit them to be sent to Ukraine, The Media Line reports, citing a source in Lebanon's intelligence services. Hezbollah helps the Russians in recruiting, the publication says.

According to the publication, first of all, they are looking for those who can operate drones and have experience in guerrilla warfare in urban areas.
The Palestinians are sent to the front line, where about 300 people are already fighting, the publication writes. They have undergone rapid training. Another hundred people are now preparing to go.
Most of the Palestinians who are ready to fight for Russia on the territory of Ukraine come from the largest Palestinian refugee camp, Ain al-Halwa. They are also members of the Fatah movement, whose leader is Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.
In April 2022, it was reported that Russia was massively recruiting Syrians to be sent to Ukraine, Shoigu said that 16,000 volunteers from the Middle East had been recruited, including Wagner's PMC.
Syrian media also reported on the recruitment. It was noted that Russia offered volunteers from Syria from $200 to $300 to "go to Ukraine and work as bodyguards" for a six-month contract.
