Ukraine received 5,600 tonnes of aid for the energy sector during the year of war

Ukraine has received 5,600 tonnes of aid for the energy sector since the beginning of the full-scale war.

This was announced by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Halushchenko.

In total, the state has received 450 cargoes of aid from 30 countries. Among them are more than 1,700 generators, about 1,000 power transformers, mobile gas boilers, special equipment, high-voltage equipment for repairing power lines, a mobile cable laboratory, and a lot of materials.

"Thanks to this assistance, we were able to restore the operation of a large number of energy infrastructure facilities that were attacked by russians with missiles, drones, and artillery. This is an extremely important contribution to Ukraine's energy stability," the minister added.

Previously. Ukraine may no longer have power outages. The power system is operating in a deficit-free mode.
