The occupiers have almost used up the stock of artillery ammunition from the depots in the central part of russia.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports this.
Currently, ammunition for the russians is being transported to the territory of the temporarily occupied part of Ukraine from depots located in other regions of russia, which significantly increases the delivery time.
The General Staff notes that the condition and quality of new batches of ammunition is unsatisfactory due to improper storage and violations of maintenance rules. Thus, almost 50% of these batches of ammunition show visible signs of rust damage.
According to the General Staff, given the intense hostilities and the existing unsatisfactory condition of ammunition, artillery units of the russian federation should expect a shortage of ammunition within the next 2-3 months.
