More than half a million consumers in Kharkiv Oblast remain without electricity – Synehubov
Power engineers are doing everything possible to supply power to all consumers as soon as possible
In Kharkiv, critical infrastructure and the bulk of consumers have been supplied with electricity. Restoration works are ongoing. At the same time, 470,000 consumers in Kharkiv and 50,000 in the oblast remain without electricity.
This was announced by Oleh Synehubov, Head of the oblast administration.
Work on restoring power supply in Kharkiv and the oblast after a massive missile strike on 9 March 2023 continues. Power engineers are doing their best to supply power to all consumers as soon as possible.
Currently, more than 90% of consumers in Kharkiv Oblast have electricity. Residents of Vovchansk, Zolochiv, and partially Derhachi communities are without electricity.
Over the past day, the enemy massively shelled the border settlements of Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, and Kupyansk districts with cannon artillery, MLRSs, mortars, and other weapons.
On the contact line, the enemy is trying to improve its tactical position, the Ukrainian defenders, however, are holding their line and inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
Background. On 9 March 2023, following a nighttime russian attack, Kharkiv was left without electricity, water, and heating.
