Ukroboronprom starts producing 125mm shells for tank guns
The first batch for T-64, T-72, and T-80 tanks has already been delivered by order of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine

Ukroboronprom has started producing 125mm shells for a tank gun.
The press service of the state concern reports this.
It is noted that 125mm shells are the second ammunition to be produced in close partnership with a NATO country abroad. The first batch of 125-mm shells for T-64, T-72, and T-80 tanks has already been delivered by order of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
Ukroboronprom emphasises that for the first time since independence, Ukraine has launched its own production of ammunition: 82mm and 120mm mortar shells, 122mm and 152mm artillery shells, and now 125mm tank shells.
For security reasons, the production has been moved outside the country, but Ukrainian designers, technologists, turners, foundry workers, etc. are involved in the production of ammunition.
