In Kyiv Oblast, 11,000 destroyed buildings restored over a year

Over the past year, 11,000 out of 27,000 facilities destroyed as a result of active hostilities have been restored in Kyiv Oblast.

This was announced by Oleksiy Kuleba, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, during a TV marathon.

According to Mr. Kuleba, local residents, local governments and international partners were involved in the reconstruction. The state and donors were used to restore social facilities, such as housing and educational institutions.

The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that the first priority was to restore slightly damaged facilities in order to return people as soon as possible. The second stage will involve the reconstruction of facilities that require design and major reconstruction.

The representative of the Office of the President added that a lot of work is currently underway in Irpin to design 7 new multi-storey buildings with the involvement of the UNITED24 fund.
