BES seizes counterfeit tobacco worth 1.5 million UAH in Zakarpattia region
Searches resulted in seizure of 38,000 packs of cigarettes without excise duty
The Bureau of Economic Security seized tobacco products worth 1.5 million UAH in Zakarpattia region.
This was reported by the BES press service.
In the course of the investigation, law enforcement officers identified the places where the illegally manufactured tobacco products were stored. The searches resulted in the seizure of 38,000 packs of cigarettes of various brands without excise tax.
In addition, the BES recognised the vehicle used to transport the goods as material evidence and confiscated it.
