Lviv plans to complete construction of waste recycling plant by the end of the year – Mayor Sadovyi
The plant will be able to process 250,000 tonnes of waste per year

The construction of a waste recycling plant in Lviv is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year, with 25% of the construction work completed.
This was announced by Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.
"We inspected the construction of the waste processing plant. 100% of design and 25% of construction work has already been completed. We plan to complete the construction by the end of the year. The next stage is the installation of equipment," Mayor Sadovyi wrote on Facebook.
It is noted that the construction work is carried out by the Polish company Control Process S.A. The plant will be able to process 250,000 tonnes of waste per year. According to the mayor, if more capacity is needed, the technology will provide it.
Alongside the plant's construction, Lviv already has a composting station for food and garden waste and is reclaiming the Hrybovychi landfill. The reclamation work is 91% complete.
