Ukraine receives 12 transformers from the Energy Support Fund
Equipment worth more than 2 million UAH has already been received by the electricity distribution system operator in one of the oblasts bordering russia
Ukraine has received 12 transformers purchased at the expense of the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine, established under the Energy Community Secretariat.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy on its Telegram channel.
The necessary equipment worth more than 2 million UAH has already been received by the electricity distribution system operator of one of the oblasts bordering russia.
It is noted that the donor for the purchase is the Danish Energy Agency.
In total, the list of companies selected for the purchase of equipment, fuel and services at the expense of the Energy Support Fund includes 41 companies. These are companies engaged in generation, transmission, distribution of electricity, storage, distribution and transportation of natural gas, as well as in the mining industry.
"We are grateful to all donors to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund, whose inputs are helping us to restore and strengthen Ukraine’s energy system. This is a contribution not only to Ukraine’s energy security, but also to the security of the entire European continent," said Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Halushchenko.
In total, the Ukraine Energy Support Fund has already received more than €154 million from 12 countries, organisations and companies. Active fundraising for the Fund continues.
