Parliament dismisses Head of the Accounting Chamber Patskan
250 MPs voted for the decision

The Parliament has dismissed Valeriy Patskan, Head of the Accounting Chamber.
This was announced by Yaroslav Zhelezniak, MP from the Holos party.
The dismissal was based on the provision on the legal regime of martial law, which allows for a corresponding decision to be made if more than a quarter of MPs express their distrust.
At the same time, 250 MPs voted for Mr. Patskan's dismissal. Mr. Zhelezniak added that the parliament had used a similar procedure to dismiss former human rights ombudsman Liudmyla Denysova.
