Ukrzaliznytsia extends restrictions on the transport of agricultural products to Poland

Ukrzaliznytsia has expanded restrictions on the transport of agricultural products to Poland.

The restrictions will apply to cereals, oil seeds and plants, medicinal plants and plants for technical purposes, straw, fodder, as well as food waste and ready-made animal feed.
The temporary ban will apply to transport through the Izov border crossing. The ban will be in effect from 15 April, but the company does not say when it may be cancelled.
Background. As previously reported by Mind, Slovakia had stopped processing a batch of Ukrainian grain due to excessive pesticide levels. The consignment, which was found to have an elevated pesticide content, was being processed at one of Slovakia's largest mills.
