Ukrainian Armed Forces repel 53 enemy attacks over the day – Bakhmut is in the epicentre of combat operations
Over the past day, the enemy launched 3 missile attacks and 30 air strikes

Over the past day, the enemy launched 3 missile and 30 air strikes and fired 50 times from multiple launch rocket systems. The likelihood of further missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy is focusing its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, Maryinka, and Shakhtarsk sectors – 53 enemy attacks were repelled. The town of Bakhmut remains at the epicentre of the fighting.
It is noted that the enemy continues to suffer losses. Thus, on 17 April this year, the enemy tried to carry out a medical evacuation from the temporarily occupied Luhansk Oblast towards the village of Urazovo, Belgorod Oblast.
Fourteen trucks were used to transport the injured occupiers. While trying to cross the state border of Ukraine into the territory of the russian federation, for some reason, the russian side did not let the military convoy through and turned it back.
"It is known that during this movement, some of the enemy soldiers did not survive due to the lack of proper medical care. The other part of the seriously injured invaders, more than 50 people, was transported to the hospital deployed on the basis of the Troitsk central district hospital," the statement said.
Previously. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have already eliminated 185,730 russian servicemen, 680 were killed over the past day.
