Zelensky calls on the United Kingdom to take the lead in forming an air coalition for Ukraine
Ukraine expects specific decisions from the NATO Summit that will bring the end of the war closer and strengthen Europe's security

President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on the United Kingdom to take the lead in forming an air coalition for Ukraine.
This was reported by the press service of the Office of the President.
President Zelensky met with British National Security Adviser to the Prime Minister Timothy Barrow. The President discussed strengthening defence support for Ukraine.
In particular, Zelensky stressed the importance of transferring Western-style military aircraft to Ukraine, as well as various types of weapons necessary to counter the russian aggressor.
The Head of State noted the importance of the UK's support for Ukraine: "I would like to ask you to continue persuading your partners in the necessity of providing Ukraine with all the necessary weapons and military equipment."
The parties also discussed preparations for the NATO Summit, which is to be held in Vilnius this summer. Zelensky pointed out that Ukraine expected specific decisions from the Summit that would bring the end of the war closer and strengthen Europe's security.
