UkrGasVydobuvannia increased gas production at one of the wells from zero to 160,000 cubic metres
This was facilitated by the completion of the workover of the well in eastern Ukraine

The specialists of UkrGasVydobuvannia have successfully completed the workover of a well in eastern Ukraine. As a result, production from the well increased from almost zero to 160,000 cubic metres of gas and 57 tonnes of condensate per day.
This was reported by the press service of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
The previous reservoir layer was depleted. Experts transferred the well to the overlying bed. The field where the well operates has already produced more than 85% of its initial hydrocarbon reserves over 30 years of operation.
"This well is a good example of how a well-planned and executed workover operation can not only give a second life to a well, but also ensure a high level of production from it," commented Oleh Tolmachev, Acting CEO of UkrGasVydobuvannia.
Previously. It was reported that UkrGasVydobuvannia had launched two production wells at once at one of the largest fields in Ukraine over the past month. In total, 300,000 cubic metres of gas were added to the company's daily production.
At the field, which is more than 50 years old, the new wells not only helped to stop the decline in production but also to achieve an increase in production performance.
