Street fighting continues in Maryinka and Bakhmut at minimal distances – National Guard
Clashes take place at distances of less than 100 metres, sometimes even less than 50 metres

russia is focusing its main offensive efforts on the Maryinka and Bakhmut axes. Street fighting continues in these sectors – sometimes at minimal distances.
This was reported by Ruslan Muzychuk, National Guard spokesman, during the national TV marathon, Ukrinform reports.
According to him, the front line has hardly moved over the past week, and the enemy is now focusing his main offensive efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Maryinka directions.
"However, the Maryinka and Bakhmut directions are the epicentre of the conflict. This is where the largest number of assault actions took place, and street fighting continues in these areas, sometimes at rather short distances," noted the spokesman.
Muzychuk explained that the fighting was taking place at distances of less than 100 metres, sometimes even less than 50 metres.
Besides, the National Guard spokesman stated that russians continued to set up echelon defences in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson sectors.
"The enemy continues to build up echeloned defence and strengthen his positions. And it's not just that there are almost no attempts at assault – there are also artillery attacks. Over the past day, there were a little over 30 attacks on the National Guard positions. And reconnaissance with the help of UAVs is actively used in this area," the spokesman noted.
He added that in the Kherson sector alone, the National Guard had downed 4 UAVs over the previous week, including Orlan-10 and Zala 421.
Previously. Over the past day, the Armed Forces eliminated at least 470 russian occupiers. russia's total losses during the full-scale invasion have already amounted to about 190,510 soldiers.
