During the past 24 hours, russia launched a massive strike on Ukrainian territory, using Iranian-made Shahed combat drones. 18 out of 24 UAVs were destroyed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The russian federation continues to employ terror tactics. During the past day, the enemy carried out 10 missile attacks on the cities of Kramatorsk and Zaporizhzhia, conducted 75 air strikes, and fired 65 times from multiple rocket launch systems at the Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas. There are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential buildings, educational institutions, kindergartens, and other civilian infrastructure facilities were destroyed and damaged.
The likelihood of further rocket and air strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high. The enemy is focusing his main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Lymanske, Bakhmut, and Maryinka sectors, where, over the day, defence forces units repelled around 60 attacks. The most intense fighting is taking place for Bakhmut and Maryinka.
