In April 2023, new petrol engine cars accounted for 48% of sales in Ukraine – UkrAutoprom
The Renault was the sales leader in April among petrol and diesel cars

However, compared to the previous month, their market share decreased by 1 percentage point (p.p.). Electric vehicles suffered losses in market structure as well, with their segment shrinking to 9% (-2 p.p.). At the same time, diesel cars increased their market share by 3 p.p. to 24%.
This was reported by UkrAutoprom.
Unchanged from March, the percentage of hybrid and LPG cars remained at 18% and 1% of the new passenger car market, respectively.
The market structure of new cars in April: petrol engine cars – 48% of registrations; diesel cars – 24%; hybrids – 18%; electric vehicles – 9%; LPG cars – 1%.
Leaders in their respective segments were:
- Petrol cars – Renault Duster;
- Diesel – Renault Duster;
- Hybrids – Toyota RAV-4;
- Electric – Volkswagen ID.4;
- LPG cars – Hyundai Tucson.
