For the past two weeks, Apple Inc.'s market capitalization has exceeded the value of all companies included in the Russell 2000 small-cap index.

"It's incredible that one company can outsize the entire universe of small-cap firms," said eToro strategist Cally Cox. – "To me, this is a sign of the decline in small-cap companies.
