The Kyiv Defence Council will prohibit trucks from entering the capital during air raid alert.

This is reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.

The relevant decision will come into effect on 22 May and will apply to freight transport weighing over 4.5 tonnes. The National Guard and patrol police will enforce the restrictions at city entrances.

Along with this, the Defence Council has required public transport to transport passengers to the nearest shelters in the event of an air raid alert. This applies to both the municipal company Kyivpastrans and private carriers. Compliance with these rules, which will also come into effect from 22 May, will be monitored by the police.
