Civilians were injured and private residences were damaged and destroyed
Over the past day, the enemy inflicted 41 airstrikes and fired 53 times from multiple rocket launchers.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Due to the shelling, civilians were injured, and private houses as well as other civilian and administrative infrastructure were damaged and destroyed. The likelihood of missile and air strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
However, over the day, the Air Force of the Armed Forces inflicted 15 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel and military equipment, of which 3 were on anti-aircraft missile systems. The defenders also destroyed an enemy Ka-52 combat reconnaissance helicopter, 4 Shahed type UAVs, and 1 Zala type reconnaissance drone.
Rocket Forces and Artillery hit 3 command posts, 4 areas of weapons and military equipment concentration, 1 ammunition depot, 2 artillery units on firing positions, and 3 other important enemy targets.
Background. The EU has delivered 220,000 shells to Ukraine out of the promised million since March. In addition, there are two more projects for the purchase of ammunition – one is led by France, the other by Germany.
