Skibitsky: "The main goal of Ukrainian intelligence is to kill Putin"
Putin sees that Ukraine is getting closer and closer to him

The main goal of Ukrainian intelligence is to kill Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
Source. This was stated in an interview with Welt by Vadym Skibitskyi, Deputy Head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
According to him, Putin is aware of the plans of Ukrainian intelligence, which is looking for an opportunity to get closer to him.
"Putin is noticing that we are getting closer and closer to him, but he is also afraid of being killed by his own people," the representative of the Ukrainian Defence Intelligence said.
Earlier, the German tabloid The Bild suggested that Ukrainian intelligence had already attempted an assassination attempt on the Russian president. According to the publication, on April 23, Ukrainian intelligence services launched a UJ-22 drone and attempted to attack the new Rudnevo industrial park in the Moscow region, where Putin was allegedly going to visit. The same drone was found in the Moscow region on April 23, packed with 17 kg of C-4 explosives.
The Russian president was indeed planning to visit Rudnevo, the Kremlin reported.
In addition, in early May, two drones attempted to attack the Kremlin. The press service called it an assassination attempt on Putin. The Senate Palace, where the president's office and apartment are located, was hit by the drones.
In an interview with Welt, Skibitsky also said that the GRU is attempting to assassinate the founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin.
"Our priority is to kill the unit commander who orders his men to attack," he explained.
Background. Last week, The Washington Post wrote that Prigozhin had been in touch with his contacts in Ukraine's military intelligence. The head of the Wagner PMC offered Kyiv data on the positions of the Russian army in exchange for the withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Bakhmut, the newspaper wrote. Two Ukrainian officials confirmed that the head of the Wagner PMC had contacted representatives of the GUR.
