In Bakhmut and on the flanks, there are no active battles.
This was reported by Hanna Maliar, Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine.
It is noted that the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to advance in the Bakhmut direction, but overall, offensive activity was reduced. This is explained by the fact that the occupiers are replacing and regrouping troops in order to increase their forces. At the same time, the enemy is actively bombarding the outskirts of the city and its approaches.
Regarding the achievements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the defenders maintain the previously occupied dominant heights to the north and south of Bakhmut. Meanwhile, advancement has been paused during yesterday and today in order to accomplish other tasks.
Background. Mind previously reported that a part of the Wagner servicemen was retreating from Bakhmut. The fighters are "regrouping in three other locations", their retreat, however, does not mean they will cease fighting.
