The Mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, added that the occupiers had been using the hit port to transport loot from the temporarily occupied territories.
An explosion has occurred in the temporarily occupied port of Berdiansk.
This was reported by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko from the European Solidarity party.
The military outlet Military speculates that the explosion could have been due to a Storm Shadow missile strike, which was provided to the Ukrainian Armed Forces by the United Kingdom.
