The President summarised that the meeting had agreed on a comprehensive set of international and security measures to hold russia accountable for the dam sabotage.
Furthermore, following the results of the meeting, the National Security and Defence Council was tasked to carry out evacuations from risk areas and to provide drinking water to all towns and villages that were supplied with water from the Kakhovka reservoir.
Volodymyr Zelensky convened an emergency meeting of the National Security and Defence Council due to the dam sabotage at the Kakhovka reservoir.
This was reported by Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council.
More details about the meeting have not been reported yet.
Background. Mind previously reported that the russians had sabotaged the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station. The scale of destruction, speed and volumes of water, and potential flooding areas are currently being determined.
