Air defence forces shot down 4 cruise missiles and 10 attack drones during a night attack.
This is reported by the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that the occupiers in total launched 6 air-based cruise missiles Kh-101/Kh-55 and up to 16 attack drones of the Shahed-136/131, Lancet types. The Shahed drones were launched from the south, while the missiles were fired from the Caspian Sea region.
The Command also adds that around 8:00 p.m. on June 8, the enemy struck from the Black Sea with 2 Kalibr missiles at one of the civilian objects in Cherkasy Oblast.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the occupiers shelled evacuation points in Kherson: one person died. The shelling started exactly during the evacuation of citizens whose houses were flooded.
