russia has prepared a disinformation campaign with the aim to blame Ukraine for the sabotage of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant.
This is reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU).
Propagandists have already manufactured provocative materials. The prepared publications have "clickbait" headlines and directly accuse the Ukrainian military-political leadership, for example:
- "Dam explosion intended to 'wash away' Zelensky";
- "Zelensky is doing everything to stop being 'our scumbag'";
- "Dam sabotage to drown Zelensky and Ukraine".
The DIU warns that comments from fake accounts, ostensibly from the names of Ukrainian and foreign readers, will be placed under each material.
Background. Mind earlier reported that the occupiers had suffered manpower losses due to the sabotage of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant. The invaders lost ammunition depots, as well as automotive and armoured equipment, among others.
