russians overstate the number of destroyed vehicles for the sake of payments, deceiving the leadership – russian Air Force officer
According to him, they "destroy" the same tank several times

The russian Ministry of Defense periodically reports on destroyed military equipment, citing figures that are skeptical of both "military experts" and officials in the United States.
In an interview with the BBC, VKS lieutenant Dmitry Mishov, who fled the war, told how the military overstates the number of destroyed vehicles in order to receive payments.
According to him, the military can report to the command about the destruction of one tank several times.
"Let's say there is a damaged tank. Several helicopters shoot at it several times, and the gunner confirms that a new piece of equipment has been destroyed for a small amount of money each time. And everyone gets paid for one tank," Mishov revealed the scheme.
The officer said that no one in the military believes the reports voiced by General Ihor Konashenkov. At the same time, he probably overstates the statistics of the Defense Ministry not always consciously.
"I think this happens to the statistics precisely because the equipment is destroyed several times because of payments. And the commanders above them report that everything is fine, we have destroyed so many strongholds, so much equipment, and so many units. And Konashenkov is probably collecting and voicing it all," the russian said.
In November last year, the russian Defense Ministry promised the military separate payments for the destroyed military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The military was promised 300,000 rubles for the destruction of an airplane, 200,000 rubles for a helicopter, and 100,000 rubles for a tank.
Earlier this week, the Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of 1,500 Ukrainian soldiers and 28 tanks, including eight Leopards.
As proof, the ministry published a video of the destruction of one of the Leopards. However, it was criticized by Z-bloggers who recognized the target as a John Deere 4830 agricultural sprayer tractor.
