"I wouldn't trust putin, we need to trust our military": Zelensky commented on the counter-offensive
He noted that the results of the counter-offensive will be "felt"

During a joint press conference with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who visited Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky answered questions about the Armed Forces of Ukraine's counter-offensive.
Journalists asked him about the statement of russian dictator putin, who had previously claimed that "the Ukrainian army did not achieve its goal on any front" during the counter-offensive.
"Every day, I am in touch with our commanders of various fronts – Syrskyi, Tarnavskyi, Moskalev, Naiev, Zaluzhnyi. Everyone is optimistic. So tell putin that," Zelensky responded, quoted by the BBC.
"Counteroffensive defensive actions are taking place in Ukraine. At what stage – I will not say in detail. And I think we will feel it," the President said. "I would not trust Telegram channels and putin. We need to trust our military."
Background. During the press conference, Justin Trudeau announced a military aid package for Ukraine of $375 million. He also revealed that Canada plans to confiscate a russian transport aircraft that landed in Toronto last spring. It will be handed over to Ukraine.
