Nibulon has returned over 1,000 hectares of land to cultivation in de-occupied territories
The agro-holding has received demining operator status and the first certificate for non-technical inspection

The agro-holding Nibulon has used the certificate from the Ministry of Defence for humanitarian demining, thanks to which the company has managed to return to cultivation over 1,000 hectares of agricultural land in the de-occupied southern territories and conduct sowing there.
This was reported by the owner of the holding, Andriy Vadatursky, in an interview for KPMG Review Magazine, delo.ua reports.
According to him, currently 25,000 hectares of Nibulon's agricultural land are occupied and mined. Of these, 5,000 hectares have been de-occupied by the Ukrainian forces, and over 1,000 hectares in the liberated territories are now suitable for agricultural activities. Overall, before the full-scale russian invasion, the land bank of the holding consisted of over 80,000 hectares.
As of now, Nibulon has already received the status of a demining operator and the first certificate for a non-technical survey. As Vadatursky pointed out, his holding decided in October to initiate a new line of activity, for which it created its own land demining subdivision. Its funding, purchase of specialised equipment and staff training are carried out thanks to the holding's own funds, grant aid, as well as attracted loans.
"Full demining of the Snihurivka branch will mean unblocking a fifth of all the
Nibulon's land, contaminated with explosive objects," the press service of the holding explains.
However, the main issue for demining the front-line territories is the russian shelling, as current legislation does not allow humanitarian demining closer than 20 km to the front line. This is currently restricting Nibulon's sappers, as part of the fields in the Snihurivka community is located not far from the former positions of the russian invaders, and utmost caution should be exercised when surveying such territories.
