Denmark and the Netherlands pay for 14 more Leopard 2 tanks for Ukraine

Ukraine will receive 14 more Leopard 2 tanks – Denmark and the Netherlands have paid for the delivery of these tanks to the German concern Rheinmetall.

Source. This was reported by the German newspaper Handelsblatt.

"This step is likely to be an important signal for Ukraine, as the first German tanks have reportedly already been damaged during the offensive," the newspaper writes.

However, according to Handelsblatt, Ukraine will receive these tanks only next January.

The contract for the modernization and supply of tanks has already been signed and, according to the newspaper's sources, Denmark and the Netherlands have paid a three-digit sum in millions of euros.

Background. As reported, the Netherlands will provide Ukraine with four Czech radars and are ready to start training Ukrainians on F-16 fighters as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, it has become known that Denmark, the Netherlands, Britain, and the United States are providing Ukraine with hundreds of air defense missiles. This became known before today's meeting in the Ramstein format.
