On the right bank of Kherson Oblast, 11 settlements are still flooded.
This was reported by the Headquarters for the Elimination of Consequences of the Kakhovka HPP Dam Sabotage.
It was noted that the water level in the Dnieper at the Kherson post had dropped to 1.09 metres. Meanwhile, rescue workers pumped out over 22,000 tonnes of water from 88 houses and basements in the past day.
Yesterday, it became possible to evacuate 716 people, including 30 children and 40 people with limited mobility. In total, up to 3,000 Kherson residents have been evacuated since the dam was destroyed.
Background. Mind previously reported that over 14,000 electricity consumers in Kherson remained without power. Over the past day, 70 subscribers were connected, however, in 4 populated areas of the occupied part of Kherson Oblast, there is still no electricity.
