Due to a power substation accident, 230,000 electricity consumers in Odessa Oblast were left without power
The accident occurred on 17 June and repeated on 19 June, however, there were no power cuts the second time around

Due to a series of technological failures on 17 June, an emergency situation occurred in the Odessa power grid, leaving 230,000 consumers without electricity. It is known that the accident repeated on 19 June, but this time there were no power outages.
This information is reported by the Ministry of Energy.
The ministry specifies that they are currently investigating the causes of the accident, but reminds that due to technical failures resulting from attacks by occupiers and the need for extensive network repair, the residents of Odessa Oblast were left without power even with sufficient electricity generation.
In addition to this, the Ministry of Energy reports that due to the emergency situation, the power transmission from Moldova has been disconnected within the territory of Ukraine. Moreover, due to the power failure of the line operator in Vinnytsia Oblast, there were restrictions for wind power plants in the western regions.
The ministry adds that due to technical failures, high-voltage power transmission lines were de-energised in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Donetsk oblasts.
