The government to fund holidays for children requiring special support at health camps – resolution
Children to be sent to Artek, Moloda Hvardia camps, and top-tier children's establishments located in the Carpathian region

The government has made changes to the use of funds provided in the state budget for the organisation of recuperation and rest for children who need special attention and support. In particular, children are to be sent to children's health camps of state enterprises International Children's Centre Artek, Ukrainian Children's Centre Moloda Hvardia, and to top-tier children's establishments that are listed in the state register of child health and recreation property assets, located in the Carpathian region.
This information is available on the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine's website.
In particular, children can receive vouchers for budget funds to the Artek children's centre in 2023. This refers to:
1. Orphans and children deprived of parental care.
2. Children with one parent who has been killed or gone missing during anti-terrorist operations, national security and defence measures, repelling russian federation aggression in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, during military actions or armed conflicts, as well as those who died from injuries, concussions, or disabilities obtained in battles.
3. Biological children of foster or adoptive parents living in the same family-type children's home or in the same foster family.
4. Children from disadvantaged families who require special social attention and support.
It's worth recalling that earlier, according to Cabinet of Ministers resolution from 9 May 2023 No. 462, only one parent of a child registered in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv oblasts, who is being raised in a disadvantaged family and belongs to categories such as a child with a disability (capable of self-service) or a child from a large family, received state budget funds for rest in state health establishments.
