NABU plans to implement artificial intelligence in its operations
The technology will aid in analysing large data sets and tracking the connections between events

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) plans to utilise artificial intelligence (AI) in its operations.
This was reported by Semen Kryvonos, Head of the NABU, in an interview with Ukrinform.
The Bureau director emphasised that the technology is capable of analysing vast data sets, tracking and establishing connections between events, as well as recognising faces and transcribing audio into text.
Currently, NABU carries out negotiations with a company that possesses the relevant technology and conducts project work.
"One of the simple tasks that I posed to the developer was whether, for example, it would be possible to detect in ProZorro tenders how company X took part in 50 procurements over a specific period where there are signs of abnormally inflated prices for a certain category of goods," Kryvonos explained.
The director added that in order to implement this technology in their work, analysts would be needed to train the AI and set tasks for it.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that Jaguar Land Rover would use AI to avoid supply problems. The company stated that the technology had already enabled it to avoid disruptions at global freight ports.
