The former CIA director said that the leader of the failed coup in Russia, Yevgeny Prigozhin, "should be very careful around open windows".

Retired General David Petraeus, who spoke on CNN's "State of the Union" program, was apparently referring to several cases of deaths of prominent Russians, including those caused by falling out of windows, after Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Prigozhin stopped the march of the Wagner Group mercenaries on Moscow by agreeing to go into exile in neighboring Belarus, whose leader, Alexander Lukashenko, is a staunch ally of Russian dictator Putin.
"Prigozhin saved his life, but lost his Wagner Group," Petraeus said. "He needs to be very careful around open windows in his new location in Belarus."
Among those who died under unclear circumstances is the chairman of the Lukoil board of directors, who criticized Russia's so-called "special military operation" in Ukraine. Last September, he fell out of a hospital window.
Also, a top manager of one of the Russian Railways companies was found dead in Moscow.
