Parliament terminates mutual state secrets protection agreement with Belarus

Parliament has terminated the agreement concerning the mutual protection of state secrets with Belarus.
This was announced by Oleksiy Honcharenko, MP from the European Solidarity party.
The document was signed on the 19th of February, 2004 by the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Security Committee of Belarus.
Background. Previously, Mind reported that Ukraine had denounced the last agreement with the russian federation concerning the Azov Sea. Additionally, MPs voted for withdrawal from the agreement on creating the Black Sea Naval Cooperation Task Group.
