EU may make concessions to russian bank to unblock grain deal, Financial Times reports
Under-sanctioned rosselkhozbank is proposed to set up a subsidiary and grant it access to SWIFT

The EU may make concessions to the russian rosselkhozbank in order to unblock the grain deal.
This is reported by the Financial Times.
According to the russian plan, the financial institution must establish a subsidiary, which will be allowed to use SWIFT. This is supposedly necessary for russia for "processing payments related to grain exports".
Furthermore, russia aims to resume supplies of agricultural machinery and spare parts for it, as well as to remove restrictions on insurance and reinsurance.
Background. Previously, Mind reported that since June 26, no new vessel has participated in the grain deal. If this continues, by July 17, over 1 million tonnes of food will be trapped in the ports.
