Defence Forces liberated more than 10 square km over the past week in southern Ukraine – General Staff
Demining operations are ongoing in those areas

Over the past week, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated more than 10 square km from the occupiers in the south of Ukraine. It is noted that demining operations are ongoing in those areas.
This was reported by the General Staff of the AFU.
It is clarified that thanks to the counter-offensive, the defenders advanced more than a kilometre on the Melitopol and Berdiansk fronts. It is noted that since the start of the offensive, the advancement has been 8.6 kilometres.
And since the beginning of the offensive in the Melitopol and Berdiansk sectors, the Defence Forces of Ukraine have liberated 169 square km from the occupiers. The headquarters add that this is comparable to the area of Odessa.
In addition, it is pointed out that over the past week, 4 square km of territory have been liberated on the Bakhmut axis. Since the start of the offensive, 24 square km of Ukrainian land have been freed.
