The terrorist country of the russian federation, attacked the capital of Ukraine with kamikaze strike drones on the night of Thursday, fragments of which damaged several residential buildings.
This was stated in a message of the State Emergency Service.
"Preliminarily, the fall of debris was recorded in 4 districts of the capital. At one address, rescuers extinguished a fire on the balcony of the 5th floor of a 16-storey residential building. As a result of the hit, 2 people were affected (poisoned by combustion products), they refused hospitalisation," the rescuers pointed out. One more person was rescued at the same address.
In addition, at another address in a 25-storey residential building at the level of the 25th floor, the facade of the building was damaged without subsequent combustion. "Before the arrival of the rescuers, 2 victims with shrapnel wounds were found at the scene, they were hospitalised," clarified in the State Emergency Service.
At another address, a fire occurred in a one-storey non-operational building, spreading to the roof on a total area of 20 sq. m. The fire was extinguished.
"In addition, a fire of debris was extinguished in the green area of the adjacent territory. There were no fires at other addresses," it was explained in the statement.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported about 1 deceased in the Podilskyi district, while this information has not been confirmed by rescuers.
