UPDATED: Occupiers attacked Ukraine with Kalibr missiles and Shahed drones at night

UPDATED at 9:37 a.m.:

According to updated data from the Ukrainian Air Force Command, air defence destroyed 31 attack drones during a night attack. In total, the russians launched 36 such drones.

It has also become known that the Kalibrs were allegedly launched from the russian frigate Admiral Essen in the Black Sea, and the Shaheds from the Chauda training ground in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Overnight, the occupiers attacked Ukraine with Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles and Iranian kamikaze drones.

The Operational Command South reports this.

It is noted that several waves of strike drones were directed at detecting and exhausting the Air Defence Forces. In total, the defenders neutralised 21 drones on their approach from the sea to Odessa Oblast, and another 4 over Mykolaiv Oblast.

However, there was a hit on an industrial site in Mykolaiv, resulting in a fire. The fire was extinguished, with no casualties.

After the Shaheds, the occupiers launched 6 Kalibrs at Odessa – all were shot down by the Air Defence. Debris from the downed missiles and the blast wave damaged port infrastructure objects and several private residences. An elderly man was injured in his own house and was taken to the hospital.

Background. Mind previously reported that the occupiers were using bad weather for air attacks on Ukraine. Cloud cover complicates the work of mobile fire groups, but does not prevent cruise missiles and Shaheds from operating.
