The Ukrainian military is using ammunition made in North Korea.

According to the British publication, these are 122 mm ammunition for Grad multiple rocket launchers. Judging by the markings, most of them were made in the 1980s and 1990s. It is unknown how they came into the possession of the Ukrainian military.
The Ukrainian military, who were interviewed by journalists, say that the missiles were captured on a ship by some "friendly country" and then delivered to Ukraine.

North Korean missiles have a bad reputation among the Ukrainian military because of their unreliability: they often fail to explode and sometimes do crazy things. Because of these "crazy things," it is recommended to stay away from a missile launcher when it is firing North Korean munitions.
Nevertheless, the Ukrainian military does not refuse to use them, as they appreciate every missile they can get due to the shortage, the publication writes.
